The DPU 3000 utilizes True D2D architecture, providing parallel backup and restore, indexing, automatic data purging, hardware compression and full utilization of an active DPU by intelligently combining the powerful transfer of data from disk to disk with the proven archiving power of tape in an intelligent fashion. Unitrends' D2D implementation keeps data alive, compact, point-in-time presentable, online and replicable.

Capable of storage capacities up to 4.8TB, the solution is configurable as a tapeless, disk-to-disk nearline/tape offline, or vaulted solutions and is highly scalable to meet your changing business needs.
