C.A.M. Corp. Receives International Recognition

LAKELAND, Michigan, August 29, 2000 - What do Lakeland, Michigan and Copenhagen, Denmark have in common? Well, besides proximity to water and fairly frigid winters, each is home to a partner in bringing state-of-the-art computer imaging to major corporations, including the Big Three automakers.

Lakeland's Computer Asset Management Corporation (C.A.M. Corp.) has been serving manufacturing and industrial clients with imaging technology since 1974, and in 1992 teamed up with Augrin Software of Copenhagen to be a U.S. distributor of the EasyCopy line of software for the UNIX platform. EasyCopy enables engineers and others to easily translate complex color images and diagrams into printed form. In the past, the UNIX platform had been difficult to work with when it came to printing—EasyCopy solves this dilemma with a user-friendly interface, easy-to-use hot-keys and multiple user-configurable options. In response to customer demand, EasyCopy is now also available in a version for Windows NT.

C.A.M. Corp. was recently presented with the Millennium Achievement Award by Lisbeth Andersen, CEO of Augrin Software for its exceptional results in marketing and support of the EasyCopy suite of Imaging Solutions in the Midwest region. C.A.M. Corp. President David K. Brownlee accepted the award on behalf of the entire corporate team during a recent stateside visit by the executives from Augrin Software.

How important is EasyCopy to the Computer Aided Design and Engineering sector? GM, EDS, DaimlerChrysler and Ford, as well as Tier 1 automotive suppliers rely on EasyCopy software to make their design work run smoothly and efficiently. C.A.M., Corp. works with existing and potential clients to fashion the best combination of EasyCopy products to meet the rigorous demands of the automotive and manufacturing industries. Working closely with their partners in Denmark, the C.A.M. Corp. team visits client sites to not only assess current needs, but to anticipate future growth. C.A.M. also maintains an EasyCopy Help Desk to field calls from users, consulting regularly with the developers at Augrin Software to smooth out any software enhancements and to recommend improvements based on real-world requirements.

C.A.M. Corporation's expertise, however, is not limited to just working with large corporations. Through its extensive network of vendor relationships, C.A.M. Corp. is an imaging solutions provider to small- and medium-sized businesses as well. They offer a complete line of enterprise and department-wide storage and backup solutions, fault-tolerant servers and a wide array of color printers to help complete any business environment. Additionally, an on-site fully-stocked warehouse enables C.A.M. Corp. to provide same-day shipping of most major brands of printing supplies.

C.A.M. Corporation is located at 4730 E. M-36 in Lakeland. They can be reached at (810) 231-2883. The company maintains a web site at: www.camcorpusa.com.
